HALLOWEEN PORCH DECOR
So, I’ve been waiting all summer to decorate the front porch of the Modern Farmhouse for Halloween. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE summer…and I love Fall…..but next to Christmas, I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
So here, I thought I’d share my little Farmhouse front porch ideas with you, and I hope I give you some inspiration as well. I used some of my earlier items from my Fall front porch décor and just added to it.
HALLOWEEN READY
I love the pop of color the fall blanket gives that I used for the FALL BANDWAGON article, so I’ll leave that on the rocker. The house sets back off the road, so this pop of orange really shows up for front curb appeal.
I’m switching out the Fall pillow on the rocker for this cute BOO pillow. Nothing says Halloween like BOO, right?!
I also like leaving the bale of straw, as this still speaks Halloween to me. Plus, it gives me a place to lean my Happy Halloween sign! And I love the flowers I set out earlier as well, so they stay put. They also bring a bright pop of color for that curb appeal and I think flowers are a nice welcome to guests coming to your front door.
But I’m switching out the plain pumpkins for Halloween pumpkins! Especially this cute wooden one, that has a solar kit on top. This cute guy will start glowing when the sun goes down and lasts pretty far into the night. Just be sure if you find something similar, he needs sun on him a good part of the day to store up enough energy to give off light at night.

I also replaced my Farm Sweet Farm sign on the siding with this carved wooden pumpkin. I have had this for 20+ years. Definitely an “investment” piece! lol OH, and if you have vinyl siding, check out these awesome Siding Clip Hooks to hang stuff. They work awesome! I’ve used them everywhere on the outside of the Modern Farmhouse.
Next is the pottery pumpkin with a LED candle inside. I especially love the ones that are made for pumpkins and they flicker! From a distance, they look like a real candle flickering.
So that pretty much sums up the Farmhouse Halloween Front Porch. I hope I’ve inspired you, gave you some ideas you hadn’t thought of, or just gave you the kick start you need to go out there and start decorating for your own! I’d love to hear from you, so PLEASE leave a comment below and tell me what you’re doing for Halloween! And don’t forget to follow me on Facebook or Instagram!
Leslie, we stayed at your house Oct 10-13 2019. My daughter Jessica Richmond booked the place for us & her In-Laws to stay. We didn’t know what the place would look like or even clean. When we all got there, we really like the outside of the house so we thought this place will be nice inside. The house was perfect for us. The place was clean & we were very comfortable seating around in the living room. The place was decorated for the fall & I like how it was decorated. Thank you for the cookies. Of course the kids liked them. Even the big kids. This was a very nice place to stay. I was the one that the guys had to carry me up & down the steps. I have MS & I couldn’t make it up the steps. Again, thank you for us staying at your house.
So glad you enjoyed your stay!! & liked our Fall decor! Thanks so much!!
