It’s October and the days are flying by so fast, so before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving!

So if you’ve been following along with me for any amount of time, you know I LOVE to decorate. Doesn’t matter the season or Holiday, I will find a reason to switch the décor up for them all!
Now it’s time to start planning those Thanksgiving dinners and more importantly (to someone like me!) is the table setting. Food is important too, but you want a beautifully set table that just welcomes family or friends in for the day full of turkey and pumpkin pie.
So I decided to do something fun this year and set the table scape at our Modern Farmhouse. I can’t lie, I have been having SO MUCH FUN decorating over there.
MODERN FARMHOUSE THANKSGIVING
In keeping with the black and white buffalo check theme I have going on in the Farmhouse, I decided to use the pretty table runner I had for the island and use it on the dining table instead. It fits perfectly and gives me that “feel” I was after.
Everything I’ve used on this table except for the cute pumpkins and napkins, are things I already had. You don’t need to buy new things every year. Look in your closet or drawers, wherever you stash things and find things to use.
I brought over this old dough bowl I’ve had for at least 30 years. I think it’s the perfect piece to hold those cute fake boo pumpkins and some fake lambs ear greenery. The lambs ear just gives it a nice soft touch of green. I threw in my LED candles too, which will be very pretty in an evening setting all aglow!
The gold chargers are also something I’ve had for years, but did you know you can get these at the Dollar Store! They have so many different ones to choose from and they’ll ship them free to your local store! BONUS.
The last two things I’ve done was use the white plates I already have at the Farmhouse and I found these pretty napkins on Amazon. I didn’t want to do more buffalo check so I thought these were the perfect ones!
So there you have it. A simple Modern Farmhouse Thanksgiving. Please feel free to comment below and let me know YOUR plans for Thanksgiving dinner and what awesome décor ideas you use! And don’t forget to follow me on Facebook and Instagram!
